Writer's Block: Globetrotting

If you were given the opportunity to spend two weeks in any country in the world free of charge, which country would you choose, and why?

Do I have to choose just one? It's been my dream for as long as I can remember to travel the world and see everything it has to offer. So to pick just one country would be just about impossible.

So, can I split the travel into two one-week destinations?

I would spend the first week in Denmark, visiting my lovely hubby and his family and being the happiest I can be.

Then for the second week, I would go to Korea. No doubt about it. I can't die happy until I have been there at least once.

Writer's Block: Happy birthday, savvy?

Which film starring birthday boy Johnny Depp is your favorite, and why?

Easy question! Yay!!
Because this movie also happens to be one of my absolute favourites of all time!!

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS!!!
I am a huuuuuuge Tim Burton fan, and I absolutely love Johnny Depp, so any time (and it happens a lot) that these two pair up for a project, I get like, instant smiles. This movie....I can't even explain it. It's just so awkward and kitchy and weird that I absolutely love it. The makeup and costuming in it is genius too :)

Writer's Block: Back in the day

Is there anything you did when you were younger that makes you laugh or blush when you remember it?

I probably have one of the world's most embarrassing childhood potty training story. It's so embarrassing, I'm not even going to write it down. If you're that curious, you can just ask me personally. It's that bad.

...

All I have to say is:

Happy fucking Birthday, Asshole.

That is all.

Writer's Block: Your own toy story

Did you have a favorite stuffed animal, action figure, or doll growing up? If so, what was it and what happened to it?

When I was born, my aunt gave me this stuffed purple elephant that was actually a bottle holder (there was a hole in it's head where a bottle would go). As I was very creative with names growing up, her name was Elephant. I took her everywhere, and she had to be re-stuffed so many times, we lost count. She's missing patches of fuzz, her nose isn't quite right, one of her ears is gone....but I still have her :)

Writer's Block: Take me back

Is there any song that reminds you so much of an ex-partner that you can't stand to hear it? Details, please.

I still can't listen to Nowhere With You by Joel Plaskett. It was me and my ex's song, and even though I hold no animosity towards him, I still can't manage to listen to that song. It's not because it makes me sad, or because it dredges up heartbreaking memories of the two of us, because i've moved way beyond him and on to greater things. I just can't listen to it anymore. I can't explain it.

Writer's Block: From beyond

If you died and became a ghost and could only haunt one place, which place would you choose, and why?

I would join the ghosts at my hubby's house, and keep watch over him. Totally not creepy at all!! xD

Writer's Block: Collect 'em all

Do you collect anything? If so, what do you collect, and what made you start your collection?

Alright, so I don't have any cool collections with awesome stories behind them.

I collect books, because I like to read them. No big story there.

I also collect angels and fairies. No cool story there either, but there is one. When I was 4, my little brother was baptized and my mum and I were converted to the catholic church (I had no say in the matter.....obviously....). The priest that baptized us gave me these two little porcelain angels. I've collected them ever since. I added fairies to the collection along the way, just because I like fairies.

Writer's Block: See the music

What's your favorite music video of all time?

Is this even a question? Hands down, Love Song by Big Bang.

Writer's Block: The best of times

What song reminds you of the happiest times in your life, and why?

This may be a weird answer, but the song the reminds me the most of some of my happiest moments is Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day. A lot of people (I would think) wouldn't necessarily associate with it that way, but it is for me. In junior high, I was a huge Green Day fan. It was also around then that I went to camp for the first time. I have a lot of fond memories from that summer (it was also my grandmothers wedding, and a lot of other things happened that summer, but camp was definitely one of the highlights. We had a sort of theme song while we were there, and it could almost always be heard being hummed anywhere along the grounds. We played it at our opening bonfire, and again at out last one (where everyone started crying while singing it). It happened to be this song (with a couple of altered lyrics), which was (and still is) one of my very favourite songs of all time. So this song, even though it's a little on the sad side, almost always makes me smile :)
